*NEW* The Village Eatery, Qualicum Beach, BC

 April 2025, The Village Eatery is now open in the heart of Qualicum Beach village, on the site of the old Bailey's Cafe. 

Owners Neil Bidewell & Kymon Giakoumakis describe it as "a coffee house in the morning and pizza house in the night”. 

 

 

We arrived after 11am, so breakfast was officially over. However, to our delight, they were still able to offer us a large, tasty Breakfast Bunwich.

There was also a good selection of muffins, scones and other snack items for those of us with smaller appetites.

 

The peach muffin was especially delicious: crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and filled with fruit. 

 

 

 

There are plenty of outside tables, although the north-facing patio does tend to be shaded for much of the day, so be sure to dress warmly if you plan to sit there.

 

Chloe craved the sunshine, so we chose to sit at a nearby bench, across from the library, which was an equally good place to enjoy our food.
