The Village Eatery, Qualicum Beach, BC

The Village Eatery opened in the heart of Qualicum Beach village in April 2025, on the site of what was previously Bailey's Cafe.

Owners Neil Bidewell & Kymon Giakoumakis describe it as "a coffee house in the morning and pizza house in the night”.

We arrived after 11am, so breakfast was officially over. However, to our delight, they were still able to offer us a large, tasty Breakfast Bunwich.

There was also a good selection of muffins, some HUGE blueberry cinnamon buns and other snack items, in addition to the lunch menu.

The peach muffin was especially delicious: crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and packed with fruit!

There are plenty of outside tables, although please note this north-facing patio tends to be shaded most of the day, so be sure to dress warmly if you plan to sit there on cooler days.

We craved the sunshine, so chose to sit instead at a nearby bench, across from the library, which was an equally good place to enjoy our food.

The Village Eatery is usually open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm, with weekend brunch from 8am to 2pm. These hours may change seasonally.
